This is a nice project I had to make for my course LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP).
I made a phpMyAdmin version in XUL (XML User Interface Language). You have to pronounce XUL as 'zool', hence the name Zulu.
So, it's written in PHP communicating with an MySQL database. And it uses a lot of javascript to communicate with the XUL interface.
Because it's not very safe to use - there are still a ton of bugs in it - I do not offer it for download, but you can view some screenshots of it.
